“Amelia” – Friday 23 April

Our film for April is “Amelia” – the story of Amelia Earhart, who became the first female pilot to fly solo across the Atlantic and, after setting many aviation records, attempted to fly around the world. It stars Hilary Swank as Amelia and Richard Gere as her husband and publicist and also tells of her love affair with another pilot, played by Ewan McGregor, and her mysterious disappearance over the Pacific. Impeccable period detail, absorbing of a strong, brave and true woman.

Although we have the new cinema in Andover, we hope you will continue to support our film nights.  We must have an average of 60 people per performance to continue this event in our village.

Tickets £5 available from Caroline Unwin (772375), Veronica Bacon (771285), Diana Jones (710147), and Jennifer Richards (710308)..  Doors open at 1900.  Wine, soft drinks, ice-creams available as usual.

Please order your tickets in advance. We cannot guarantee tickets ‘on the door’.
