Jackman and Allen Families

"My father, Arthur James (Jim) Jackman, was born and lived at Pear Tree Cottage with my grandmother, Mary Jackman.
My mother, Phyllis Allen, lived at Sarson Farm. My grandparents, Ernest and Amy Allen bought the farm in 1918."

Mary Jackman, Pear Tree Cottage
My grandmother, Mary Jackman, (nee Goddard) outside Pear Tree Cottage. My father, Arthur Jackman, was born 6 months after his father's death in the 1st WW when his submarine was sunk - there is a plaque with his name in Kimpton.
