Four Parishes Arts Society - February 2007

On Tuesday 9 January the society celebrated the New Year with the rare treat of seeing our own outstanding wood turner, Stuart Mortimer, demonstrating his art. He showed us some of his latest pieces of work as well as that of fellow turners from around the world.

He gave a short slide show and then demonstrated on the lathe exactly how he achieves his distinctive open lattice effect from a simple block of wood.
