Flowers at Grateley Station - 20th May 2007

We have just completed planting the tubs at Grateley Station with summer bedding. This year is the 40th anniversary of our W.I., so we hope the splash of colour at the station will help to brighten the day for travellers.  We have done this since 1992, and in 1994 we won 'The Best Station Award'.  Since that time, we have planted the tubs, and there is a watering rota. This year we have purchased three new tubs, bringing the total to 19 and this, along with the plants and compost, has been financed by our success in winning a bursary from Yorkshire Tea for our contribution to the local community.
