Problems with telephone and Internet quality in Amport

In Furzedown Lane, Amport, we still have to tolerate noisy telephone lines and very poor Internet speeds. Several houses are reporting speeds of less than 2MB/sec. A number of residents work from home and internet speeds in particular, are of some concern. We understand that fibre optic speeds are available in Weyhill but that there are no plans in the pipeline from BT for extending it to Amport. We have been discussing this with BT and it is clear that to get any improvements we will need to identify a body of users who are unhappy with the service as it is at present.
